 "Temptation: Confessions of a Marriage Counselor" is a romantic drama film produced, written, and directed by Tyler Perry. It is an adaptation of Perry's play "The Marriage Counselor," with several alterations, marking it as Perry's thirteenth film.

Storyline:

The film centers on an Ivy League-educated marriage counselor who excels in giving marital advice but struggles to address her own marriage issues.


Jurnee Smollett portrays the lead role in the movie. Her character, Judith, is torn between her husband Bryce (played by Lance Gross) and a charming client (portrayed by Robbie Jones). Despite being a relationship expert, Judith fails to apply her advice to her own marriage, leading her to an affair with the client. As the excitement of the affair fades, Judith realizes her error and must gather immense courage and forgiveness to extricate herself from the perilous situation. The ensemble cast includes Vanessa Williams as Janice, the owner of the firm where Judith works, Kim Kardashian as Ava, Judith's bold co-worker, and Brandy Norwood as Melinda, Bryce's colleague, whose life unexpectedly intertwines with Judith's.
